Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe and Transfer to Kampala
Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, will meet Early Trail Expeditions Uganda representative. This representative will be your next driver for your other days on the holiday to Uganda. The guide will drive you to your lodge, and brief you all about this trip. Then will have to rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo and do an afternoon game drive.
Today wake-up with a view of the amazing calm waters of Lake Victoria. Following the served delicious breakfast, will start your morning drive to western Uganda along Masaka-Kampala road and the final destination will be Lake Mburo. Along the drive will en-route to the Equator at Kayabwe for photographs. Upon reaching the park will refresh with lunch and take an afternoon game drive, this leads to watching heavy loads of wildlife species including impalas, elands, kobs, buffalos, giraffes, highest number of zebras in Uganda. There are highest opportunity of watching the predators of lions, hyenas, and leopards among other animals. The will return to your lodge and relax, at the near night hours will take this incredible night game drive. This gives an opportunity to watch predators actively hunting. Then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Horse riding and afternoon boat ride
Today after a delicious breakfast, take an incredible horse ride from Mihingo lodge. The horse ride takes you into the adventure hub to fetch wild encounters in a close range. The absence of elephant in the parks it very easy to do a horse ride with a guaranteed safety. A horse ride takes several trials and the hours to spend in the wilderness depends on the guest’s selection.
Then following the horse ride, will take an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo the Larges Lake in the park. The boat ride thrills comes with sceneries of cliffs, hills, various vegetation harboring various wildlife species including crocodiles, hippos among others. Then will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park (Nkuringo sector)
Today take your relaxed served breakfast, and will embark on a long day drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With Lunch in-route will reach the park in the evening hours, enter the park using Nkuringo gate at the extreme end of the park southwards and check-in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
This day following your served breakfast, you have to rush to Nkuringo trekking starting point reaching here before 7:30am for the briefing. Then trekkers will be grouped in 8 individuals per group assigned to an armed and then roll into impenetrable rolling landscape hiking through the inflatable thick terrain of the forest. Remember to wear long pants, jungle boots, carry at least 1 litter of drinking water and rain proof gears. Trekking may take 30 minutes to 6 hours, walking and searching for the endangered giants. Gorilla are followed considering where they had their previous night, and meeting them, trekkers have an hour before them. Watching gorillas is one of the few mesmerizing moments in the wild, looking face to face with the silverback you realized these are really human closest relatives.
After seeing the gorillas you will have to return to the starting point, enjoy your relaxed lunch and take a rest at your lodge.

Day 6: Gorilla Habituation
Today will set yourself ready for a day’s journey. It’s a day to spend a life in the jungle with human’s closest relatives. After your served breakfast, take your packed lunch, and hurry to the starting point. You will be 4 people in the group and a team of researchers and rangers. Then, roll into the deep and launch a search for the gorilla. Gorilla habituation is a process which is aimed at letting the gorillas familiar to human presence, it’s a follow up activity which is done to each gorilla group before it’s ready for trekking until they’re ready to be trekked.
You will start a search through the deep, and upon finding the gorillas this time you have 4 hours in their presence. This time you’re not only enjoying their sight, but also studying, and understanding each individual in the group. The adventure can last for about 6 to 8 hours, then your will return to the starting point, rest and drive back to your lodge to refresh. You will be exhausted and have to rest.

Day 7: Visit the Batwa and Lake Mutanda
Today will take a morning drive following the jungle served breakfast to the Batwa community. Reaching at the community it’s a learning center for all about these people known as the forest pygmies who once co-lived in the forests with the gorillas. However, following their forced evictions by early 1990s, today these people decide to organize stories and traditional performances in songs and dances to earn a living in such a way. Then will continue to Lake Mutanda and take a boat ride to the lake. Drive to check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Golden Monkey tracking
Today is a special day to enroll into the jungle, following your energizing breakfast, will hurry to go and track the endangered golden monkeys. The golden monkeys are only endemic to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda. The beautiful and nice looking golden monkeys live in communities of over 30 individuals and more. These monkeys are habituated meaning tracker can have that close-up moment. The track in volcanic forests of Mgahinga can last for about 30 minutes to 3 hours and when found the brownish monkeys you have an hour in their presence.
After the track refresh with your lunch en-route and drive to Lake Bunyonyi. Reaching the lake will take a stunning relaxed and scenic evening enjoying the redish sunset. Then will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Stay and explore Lake Bunyonyi
This day spend it relaxed at the amazing Lake Bunyonyi. This lake is the 2nd deepest lake in Africa, and jeweled with a simple and unique landscape view. Reaching at the lake you will take a boat ride to one of the islands. Then will check-in at your lodge and relax under the melodies of many small birds like the name suggests. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 10: Transfer back to Kampala
Today following your breakfast, will have a scenic and breathtaking drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park back to Kampala. Consider en-route for lunch in Mbarara or at the Eqautor in Kayabwe depending on the time. You reach Kampala in the evening hours, then your driver guide will drive you to your hotel or Entebbe Airport for your next flight back home.
