14 Days Uganda Adventure Safari
This 14 days Uganda adventure Safari brings you close to Uganda top tourist attractions. The trip will take the eastern route and connects to the north stretching to western Uganda and brings you back to Kampala. You will visit, Jinja to the source of the Nile, goes to Sipi at the foothills of Mt. Elgon, to Kidepo Valley National Park, take a drive to Murchison Falls National Park, visit Ziwa and Kibale National Park. Expect to do game drives, boat cruise, hiking and nature walks, chimpanzee tracking, rhino tracking, water rafting among others.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: arrival at Entebbe airport
The first day you will reach Uganda through Entebbe international airport. Upon reaching Entebbe airport Early Trail Expeditions representative will be ready to pick you. Just know this representative is going to be your driver for the rest of your trip. Then you will board and take a drive to your lodge, it has been a long journey, now you can consider taking a rest. If time allows will visit one of the shopping centers and do shopping of what you wish to include on your trip. Check-in at your lodge in Kampala for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja en-route to Sezibwa waterfalls and Mabira Zip lining
Today following your served tailored breakfast, will take a drive eastwards to Jinja city. Along the drive will en-route to Sezibwa waterfalls and Mabira forest for an amazing Zip lining adventure. After will drive straight to Jinja check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: White water rafting and a boat ride to the source of the Nile
This is an amazing day of exploring what the source of Nile offers best, the morning after breakfast, will drive take a drive a bit drive of 30 minutes along the Nile. Reaching it’s a day to face the rough rapids, this rafting adventure has made Jinja East African capital of adrenaline adventures. The rafting here is at world standard starting right from the infantry grade 1 to the advanced grade 4 and 5. No skill, and experience is needed, all things are told along your rafting. This is a greater day of adventure that you have never experienced.
After with lunch en-route will take a bungee jumping falling from the top of about 45m and kiss the white Nile waters, with lunch en-route will drive back to city and take a boat ride to the source where the Nile getting the first drop forming the world’s longest river. Then will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Sipi waterfalls
To will take an early morning drive to Sipi waterfalls in Kapichorwa district at the foothills of Mount Elgon. Reaching It’s about 4 hours’ drive, will explore all the three phases of Sipi waterfalls. Will do abseiling, take walks through banana and coffee plantations. The waterfalls hikes are indeed amazing and offer a greater tastes at the foothills of scenic Mount Elgon. The hikes will come alongside lunch en-route, and will as well have a taste of the organic coffee at your lodge. Then will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Moroto visiting the Karamoja community
This is a wonderful day, will take a drive through Soroti and use the paved road driving to Moroto. It’s a long day and will reach the area by late afternoon hours, this means moving along with your packed lunch. Then will take a visit to the Karamoja communities and explore their primitive cultures. These are people who are have limited themselves to the partners of their own standards. Finding men just busing, and women undertaking all the responsibilities of home. Will have a chance to visit the Manyatta community set up of building families in Karamoja.

Day 6: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Then following the morning breakfast will take a drive through Moroto town. Then in the afternnon hours will drive to Kidep Valley National Park. It’s an amazing open scenic view, watching various physical landforms including open plateaus, isolated rocks, and isolated volcanos. Will reach the park by evening hours and the drive is through unpaved roads. Reaching Kidepo will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Explore Kidepo on game drive and community visit
This morning you will board with an experienced armed ranger guide for a memorable drive. Kidepo is among Uganda’s most rewarding national park with great encounters among which include; prides of lions, leopards, herds of elephants, buffalos, several antelope species, several bird species, zebras, giraffes and many other wild species. The drive will continue through the continuing scenic golden savannah alongside acacia woods. The game drive will last for at least 3 to 4 hours when enjoying the glance on the amazing dwells of the park.
Then, will return to your lodge for refreshment, enjoy your lunch and take an afternoon visit the Karamoja community. Here will enjoy the Karamoja narrations, and their lifestyle stories. There is dancing presentations of which you have to engage. Then will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park en-route to Aruu waterfalls
This morning drive to Murchison Falls National Park, and will en-route to Aruu falls in Padar district along your route to Gulu. Aruu waterfalls are magnificent and nice looking falls where waters rush over white rocks and forms a larger pool where even guest can swim. Then will drive via Gulu with lunch en-route and finally in the late evening hours will be at Murchison Falls National Park. Then will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Explore Murchison Falls National Park
A great idea to drive earlier with your packed breakfast and take an early morning game drive which is the only space to see sunrise arrays. It’s an amazing moment to encounter the wild under the arrays of the sunrise, imagine sipping and enjoying your breakfast under the legs of the sunrise. Just know that a game drive at Murchison is a germ of amazing things and expect to watch some of the Big Five animals (lions, leopards, elephants and buffalos). Larger schools of hippos at the delta, highest concentration of antelope species, towers of giraffes, warthogs, several bird species and a lot more. The game drive takes through several made driving trucks will all converge at the delta that has the highest concentration of animals.
After a game drive will relax, then after the lunch delicious served meals will embark for Victoria Nile Boat ride to the bottom of the World’s most powerful waterfalls. The boat ride takes about 2hours packed with views of various wildlife on the banks of the river, and aquatic life including monitor lizards, and crocodiles, several water birds, amazing features like cliffs among many encounters on the boat cruise. Then after will drive back to your lodge and relax for another day, dinner and overnight;

Day 10: Transfer to Ziwa to track rhino then later transfer to Kibale National Park
This morning following your morning breakfast will take a drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and track Uganda’s only rhinos in the wild. The track takes about 2 hours on a scenic trails packed with views of antelopes, warthogs, and several bird species. After the track, will take a drive via Masindi to Kibale National Park. Reaching Fort Portal by late afternoon hours and will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Kibale National Park.

Day 11: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi community visit
This morning following the morning breakfast will drive to Kanyachu center to briefing about tracking etiquette. Get grouped 8 people to track a single habituated chimpanzee community, then with an armed ranger guide will roll into the forest to start a search for the apes. The track can last between 30 minutes to 3 hours to find the tracked community. Finding the apes, you are limited for an hour in their presence. This moment is like nowhere in the jungle, to find yourself in the midst of these human closest relatives. After an hour in their presence, will walk back to the starting point, find your driver and drive back to your lodge to relax and refresh. Have your lunch.
In the late afternoon hours will visit the Bigodi community and see how people around the chimpanzees are benefiting from the tracing initiatives, they have variety of souvenirs among which you can also buy. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Visit the Amabere caves and take a Crater Lake hike
Today take your morning relaxed breakfast, then drive through Fort Portal and visit the Amabere Caves and take a Crater Lake hike. This is a cultural visit that tales about the ancient Bachwezi dynasty, this will take you to the cave under waterfalls, and finish the visit with a hike. This trail can last between 4 to 5 hours and then will refresh with lunch in Fort portal. Then will take your drive back to your lodge and relax

Day 13: Transfer back to Kampala en-route to traditional Walumbe etanda site
This day makes your last day in the wild, so after the served breakfast, will board for a drive back to Kampala through Fort Portal – Mubende road. Along your drive, will en-route to a traditional and cultural site of Walumbe Etanda in Mityana. This is believed to be a place where the first Muganda started, a Muganda is a person from among the 52 tribes of Buganda Kingdom. It’s believed that Kintu married his wife Nambi from here and Nambi’s brother came and became the spirit of death called Walube. Then with lunch en-route will drive to Kampala check-in at your lodge/hotel in Kampala.

Day 14: A simple Kampala city trip and fly back home
Today enjoy a relaxed day in Kampala, after your morning breakfast take a city walk through downtown and crown it with a visit to Mengo palace and Bulange building. These are two significant building in the history of Buganda, Mengo palace is the official palace of the Kingdom and Bulange is the administrative block of Buganda kingdom. Then your driver will pick you afterwards and takes you for lunch, then will drive you to Entebbe International Airport for your next flight back home.
