The trip will start from Kigali, drive to Volcanos National Park northern part of Rwanda trek gorillas and return back to Kigali. This package is available to both luxury and mid-range travelers.

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Kigali
Suppose you reach Kigali international airport in the morning hours. Then, Early Trail Expeditions driver guide will be ready to pick you up. Then, you will a take a simple Kigali city tour reaching Kigali genocide museum. It’s an emotion, a memorable and narration center for what happened during the 100 days of 1994. Then, with lunch en-route will embark on a drive to the hilly northern of Rwanda to Masanze. Reaching in the evening hours will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Trek gorillas
Today following your early morning breakfast will drive to park’s starting point. Then be briefed on the trekking etiquettes, and be groups in the number of 8 and get assigned to a habituated gorilla family to trek. With an armed ranger guide will roll into the forest to go and start a search for the gentle giants. The trekking is very tiresome and can last from 30 minutes to 4 hours before finding your trekked group. And through the rolling landscapes, thick forests, and bamboos certainly you find the apes, have strictly an hour before them, take memorable moments and have to return to the starting point.
It’s a long day of trekking, be advised to relax and refresh at your lodge. Have your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali and fly back
Following your breakfast will take a drive to Dian Fossey Tombs. A visit to the Tombs is a direct contribution to gorilla conservation following the Fossey’s contribution. Then will drive back to Kigali, and well go to the airport to find your next flight back home.
