5 Days Murchison Falls & Chimpanzee Tracking Tour is a complete wildlife tour and chimpanzee trekking experience. Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park offers you a chance to also come across many other primates and birds. Kibale Forest National Park alone hosts over 13 primate species and includes a total of more than 1500 chimpanzees. Other primates include l’hoest monkeys, olive baboons, blue monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, pottos, bush babies, red colobus monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up & travel to Murchison Falls NP with rhino tracking en-route
Enjoy a delicious cup of tea or coffee and after, you will have a warm welcome and greeting from our driver guide. Start the 6-7 hours’ drive in a 4×4 vehicle through the Kampala-Gulu highway and make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. 5 Days Murchison Falls & Chimpanzee Tracking Tour, This is where you will track rhinos in the wild and you will proceed to a hotel in Masindi for lunch and later, access the park via Kichumbanyobo gate in the Southern side of Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2: Big game drive & launch/boat cruise expedition
After you have enjoyed breakfast, leave the lodge in a classic 4×4 vehicle for an early morning game drive via the Northern Circuit. It will be a 2-3 hours’ guided game viewing experience and a diversity of animals will be encountered. 5 Days Murchison Falls & Chimpanzee Tracking Tour, These include waterbucks, warthogs, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribis, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, elephants, hyenas, cape buffaloes, bushbucks, and birds.
Launch cruise tour in the afternoon starts after you have had lunch. This begins at the Paraa Jetty taking you along the scenic Victoria Nile that separates the Park into 2 and as you head towards the base of Murchison Falls. The 2-3 hours launch cruise excursion comes with remarkable views of aquatic life include hippos, crocodiles, birds as well as elephants, antelopes and more.

Day 3: Depart Murchison Falls for Kibale Forest N. Park for chimps tour
After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls National Park for Kibale Forest NP –the primate capital of the world. Lying in Kabarole in western Uganda, Kibale is where 13 primate species all freely roam in the forest which includes 1500 chimpanzees.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest & Bigodi Wetland walk tour
The morning chimpanzee trekking session begins with a briefing about rules and regulations at the Kanyanchu tourism center. This is where you will be put into small sub-groups and each visitor group will be allocated a park ranger guide. Tracking with Kibale chimpanzees lasts for 2 to 4 hours inclusive of one hour for a close encounter and taking photos.
After the chimpanzee trek, retreat and settle for a leisurely lunch. At 2:00 pm, the driver guide will transfer you to Bigodi Wetland located adjacent to Kibale Forest Park. The nature walk through Bigodi wetland gets nature lovers exposed to primates and birds.

Day 5: Leave Kibale for Kampala/Entebbe city
