5 Days Uganda Wildlife & Gorilla Safari is a remarkable Uganda wildlife safari and gorilla adventure. It combines a memorable wildlife viewing in the savanna plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park and gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park –the home to almost half of the mountain gorillas that are left in the wild. With the assistance of an experienced guide, you will be led deep into the forest to get up close and personal with these unique apes.

After exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park’s sweeping savanna plains featuring a diversity of wildlife such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and birds, you transfer to Bwindi. This special Uganda safari starts and ends in Kampala or Entebbe city.

Day one: Travel to Queen Elizabeth N. Park –enjoy big game viewing tour

Our company representative will meet, greet and brief you about your 5 Days Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi tour. At 8:00 am, leave Kampala or Entebbe city for a wildlife tour in Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Masaka-Mbarara-Bushenyi route, 7-8 hours’ drive. This tourism route includes a stopover at the Equator crossing and a breathtaking view of the countryside landscape. Once you have arrived, check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day two: Game drive and launch cruise expedition

Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, begin your big game search through Kasenyi Plains –the Northern section of Queen Elizabeth National Park. A 2-3 hours’ game drive through this game track allows you to see a variety of early morning risers. This trail guarantee incredible sightings of cape buffaloes, lions, elephants, leopards, warthogs, antelope families, and birdlife.

When you return, have lunch and proceed to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise excursion for 2 hours. This recreational experience allows you to view hippos, crocodiles, and aquatic birds.

Day three: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park via Ishasha (view tree climbing lions)

A hot cup of tea/coffee is served to you early morning and after, you will check out of the lodge in Queen Elizabeth NP. Drive through the Ishasha sector, another amazing region of this savanna park where tree climbing lions will be spotted. It is in this part of the park where topis and other antelopes will be sighted. Enjoy a bush lunch or drive to Savanna Resort for a meal and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day four: Gorilla trekking excursion

A tasty cup of tea/coffee and after, leave the lodge with a pack of snacks and bottled drinking water. Briefing about gorilla trekking guidelines will be conducted at the park offices and at 8:00 am, the park ranger guide leads you via the forest to see a family of mountain gorillas, observe how they behave and take photos for one hour. You will have a relaxed afternoon at the lodge and in the evening, proceed to the Batwa community for a cultural encounter.

Day five: Departure

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, followed by a check out of the lodge; meet the driver guide for transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe. En-route drive to Kampala/Entebbe includes a stopover for lunch in a hotel in Mbarara city/Igongo cultural center, and then you proceed to the Equator for photo taking.
