The 7 days Gorilla Wildlife & Cultural Tour is diversity of adventures. The trip will lead you through the western route. Major places to visit include Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the batwa community, Queen Elizabeth National Park. And among the activities to engage in on this trip include gorilla trekking, cultural tours, boat cruise, and amazing game drives. The trip starts from Entebbe and ends in Entebbe after a round drive.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda/7 days Gorilla Wildlife & Cultural Tour

Today will arrive Uganda through Entebbe International Airport. Upon reaching Entebbe Airport Early Trail Expeditions Uganda driver guide will be ready to pick you and transfer to your lodge in Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Mestil Hotel Kampala

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your served breakfast, take a drive through to Kasubi tombs in Kampala. These are iconic cultural sites (UNESCO heritage sites). After then will embark on a drive to western Uganda via Kampala- Masaka road with en-route at the Equator for photography and Mbarara city for lunch. Then will continue on a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Reaching the Park in the late evening hours will have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat cruise

Today early morning with your packed breakfast will drive to Kasenyi section of Queen Elizabeth National Park for an incredible game drive. One of the rewarding game drive with variety of wildlife species including; elephants, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, buffalos, lions, warthogs among so many species to watch accompanied by several bird species.

In the afternoon hours with lunch en-route will drive to the Mweya peninsular, for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. The wild boat cruise is an opening of watching more animals. Several animals are seen on the banks of the channel, hippos, and crocodiles are seem socking into the deep, and elephants, buffalos are seen lousily relaxed and drawing water from the river bank. Then, after will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight;

Midrange: Kasenyi Safari Camp

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

This day will take a morning drive through Ishasha sector, track the tree climbing lions. Ishasha sector is located in the southern location of Queen Elizabeth National Park and is a famous region in East African for hosting these amazing tree climbing lions. Then afterwards you board for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with lunch en-route. Will reach the park in the evening hours and enter the park via Rushaga gate. Relax, enjoy your dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Habituation/7 days Gorilla Wildlife & Cultural Tour

Today will set yourself ready for a day’s journey. It’s a day to spend a life in the jungle with human’s closest relatives. After your served breakfast, take your packed lunch, and hurry to the starting point. You will be 4 people in the group and a team of researchers and rangers. Then, roll into the deep and launch a search for the gorilla. Gorilla habituation is a process which is aimed at letting the gorillas familiar to human presence, it’s a follow up activity which is done to each gorilla group before it’s ready for trekking until they’re ready to be trekked.

You will start a search through the deep, and upon finding the gorillas this time you have 4 hours in their presence. This time you’re not only enjoying their sight, but also studying, and understanding each individual in the group. The adventure can last for about 6 to 8 hours, then your will return to the starting point, rest and drive back to your lodge to refresh. You will be exhausted and have to rest.

Day 6: Visit the Batwa Community

Today will take a drive to Kisoro to visit the Batwa communities, your will spend much of your time studying, and learning how these people survive. How they benefit from the gorilla tourism around them. You will be entertained with traditional dances, songs, tales, and can even buy some of the souvenirs aircrafts made by local. Then will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala

Today, take a relaxed breakfast, and later take a morning drive back to Kampala with lunch en-route. You will reach in Kampala by evening hours and our driver will drive you straight to Entebbe International Airport for your next flight back home.
