Overview
The 7 Days Uganda Chimpanzee & Wildlife Safari of tracking chimpanzee and watching plenty of wildlife in Uganda is one of the amazing trip suggestions for a period of one week. The trip has two major centers of concentration which are Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park. However, the trip is engaged with a lot of adventures to undertake including city tour, chimpanzee tracking, nature walks, community visits, game drives, boat cruise among so many other considerations. The trip starts from Kampala goes to Kibale National Park, continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park, finish with Lake Mburo NP and then rewinds back to Kampala.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arriving at Entebbe International Airport
This day you will arrive at Entebbe International Airport, and Early Trail Expeditions driver guide will be ready to pick you up and transfer your booked hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala. The driver guide will have enough time to guide you through the all trip and then will leave you to rest for the next day. Dinner and overnight at your booked hotel or lodge.
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park
This morning following the served breakfast will take ride to some of the interesting places in Kampala. Visit both Mengo palace and Kasubi toms (A UNESCO world heritage site) and learn more about the Buganda Kingdom. The kingdom is considered to be the mighty in the East and Central African region. Then, in the afternoon hours with lunch en-route will take a ride to Kibale National Park via Kampala – Mubende to Fort Portal. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 3: Track Chimpanzees and community visit
This morning following the morning breakfast will drive to Kanyachu center to briefing about tracking etiquette. Get grouped 8 people to track a single habituated chimpanzee community, then with an armed ranger guide will roll into the forest to start a search for the apes. The track can last between 30 minutes to 3 hours to find the tracked community. Finding the apes, you are limited for an hour in their presence. This moment is like nowhere in the jungle, to find yourself in the midst of these human closest relatives. After an hour in their presence, will walk back to the starting point, find your driver and drive back to your lodge to relax and refresh. Have your lunch. In the late afternoon hours will visit the Bigodi community and see how people around the chimpanzees are benefiting from the tracing initiatives, they have variety of souvenirs among which you can also buy. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning have your relaxed morning breakfast, will drive to Fort Portal and first visit the traditional Amabere caves, and hike the crater lakes. Afterwards will forward your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Just drive straight to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat cruise
Today early morning with your packed breakfast will drive to Kasenyi section of Queen Elizabeth National Park for an incredible game drive. The meaning of driving with packed breakfast is to enjoy morning bloody sunrise with a bit, it’s very amazing. One of the rewarding game drive with variety of wildlife species including; elephants, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, buffalos, lions, warthogs among so many species to watch accompanied by several bird species.
In the afternoon hours with lunch en-route will drive to the Mweya peninsular, for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. The wild boat cruise is an opening of watching more animals. Several animals are seen coming to the channel banks to draw water and the aquatic life seen either socked in water or lousily relaxed at water banks. Then, after will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight;

Day 6: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
Today taking your morning drive, your driver will be ready to transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. This is an amazing smaller savannah park among the others, but very rewarding as far as wildlife is concerned. You will take a night game drive on lights, this night game drive brings a splash of watching the predators actively hunting. Lake Mburo National Park hosts the highest number of lions, and leopards and the best time to watch them is at night. Then will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala
Today will take a morning boat ride on Lake Mburo, this ride takes you closer to watching several amazing natures of animals, cliffs among others. The ride lasts for about 2 hours, then will return and board on your drive to Kampala. With lunch en-route at Kayabwe will also take a moment to take a photographs. Then, drive straight to Kampala, and your driver will drive you to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
